The vocation of being a teacher isn't for everyone, and sometimes there's this romanticized view of this path, of what it means to leave a mark on students, to make an impact, to guide them down the right path, among other things; even without doing that, a teacher teaches and guides you in the short time you spend with them. There are good teachers who taught you very well and there are bad teachers whose classes you don't even remember, but a teacher who uses violence to leave a mark on you is someone who truly has a sad and bitter heart, which is why I used the phrase: "Thanks, teacher, you taught me to be cruel and humiliate."

In this painting I portray the things that are in my house and belonged to my grandfather; now we only keep them as a memory of him and little by little they belong to him less.
Also, what reminds me of him is the universe through the last photograph of the Webber satellite, that superstition of a red cardinal that comes to visit me and is his spirit, clouds where I imagine he "is" and the roses he had in his garden.

My face and images from when I was little, searching for my identity. The self-portrait is about encapsulating who I am right now and maybe, one day, I will manage to find myself.
Where all the flowers were born
My mother, the house, the flowers—I try to preserve the home where I grew up. It's scary to go outside, to face the unknown, but that safe place is kept as a refuge.

Cacti come in different sizes and produce different flowers and fruits. The largest cactus in Mexico is the Saguaro, which can grow up to 20 meters tall. It has beautiful white flowers and is my favorite cactus in all of Mexico.

In the arid landscape of Mexico, we find the Maguey or Agave, a representative plant that is a source of fermented beverages like aguamiel and pulque, and also has many other uses for manufacturing materials. It's part of my daily life, and I want it to be part of yours too.

Bees are insects whose importance and the care they need have become known thanks to various campaigns and their viral presence on social media.
